Global Beauty Trends Converge: Latin American Congress of Stylists 2026 Celebrates Major Success in Punta Cana
PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic — The Latin American Congress of Stylists 2026 concluded in Punta Cana after three days of professional training, live demonstrations and regional networking for beauty industry specialists.
Hosted at the whala!urban Punta Cana hotel, the congress ran from August 2 to August 4, opening with a welcome dinner and bringing together stylists, colorists, makeup artists, barbers and other beauty professionals from countries across Latin America.
The event featured a comprehensive academic program that included conferences, master classes, live demonstrations and specialized practical sessions. Participants explored new techniques, emerging trends and professional tools aimed at improving the quality and competitiveness of beauty services throughout the region.
A key development during the closing ceremony was the formal establishment of the Civic Union of Beauty Professionals in Latin America, known as UCPB LATAM. The organization was created to promote education, professional development and broader access to training opportunities for beauty professionals across Latin America.
The newly formed board includes Evelyn Roa as president, Delia Gracia as secretary, Micheledina as treasurer, and Yeni Ramírez as a member.
Representatives of UCPB LATAM said the organization’s mission is to expand access to professional education, particularly for individuals who have not yet had the opportunity to receive formal training. Its work will focus on supporting continuous learning and contributing to the long-term growth of the regional beauty industry.
Beyond the academic agenda, the congress also encouraged collaboration among attendees from different countries. The gathering created opportunities for professionals to exchange knowledge, build alliances and develop a shared vision of education as a central force for transformation in the beauty sector.
With the successful conclusion of its 2026 edition, the Latin American Congress of Stylists leaves Punta Cana with a renewed commitment to training and inspiring beauty professionals throughout Latin America.
